Today, we're going to be taking a look a RockyMounts Cable Lock. This cable lock is going to be great for securing your gear to a bike rack, roof rack, or cargo carrier. It really can be used for many other applications, as well. It's going to feature this spring-loaded lock catch that's very easy to open and close. The cable itself measures five feet long, has a diameter of 7/16 of an inch, and this is a braided cable. It's very strong and durable, and it's going to feature a nice, protective coating.
That way, it doesn't scratch any of your gear. It's going to come with three keys. All the keys are keyed alike. It's going to be covered with a limited lifetime warranty. When you're ready to open it, all you got to do is slide that back, so that acts as a cover for the lock core. That's going to do a great job at keeping out dirt and grime and moisture.
Place a key in there, give it a turn. It allows this to open up, so at this point, you could take it through whatever you need. If you're going to lock your bikes to your bike rack, you could take it through the framing or the wheels on the bike, and then when you're ready to secure it back to itself, all you got to do is push it in. It's going to click. Remove the key, and then close that dust cap.

These are great little locks. Key system works smoothly and has dust cap to keep things clean inside. Good length, not too stiff. I use for generator and bicycles at camp and on the bike rack.
Great Lock! Replaced one I lost that was an earlier model. Now 3 keys vs. old one with 4, but enough. Works fine.
