Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number EM07038. This is the Erickson Bungee Cord with the aluminum carabiners located on each end. It's going to measure 24 inches long. Bungee cords are going to allow you secure lightweight items on your cargo carriers, your roof rack, in your truck bed, or in your trailer. It's going to feature a stretchable construction that's going to allow the cord to adjust to the size of your cargo. It's got the fast easy hookup to the tie-down points with the sturdy carabiners at either end of the cord.
It's going to feature that nice spring-loaded gate that's going to close around the anchor points, so that the carabiner won't slip off. Another neat thing with the secure connection is it's going to keep the stretch cord in place even when it is not under tension, so it's going to stay around the anchor point with that closed gate. The carabiners are made from a rustproof aluminum construction, so they're strong and durable. Again, rustproof, corrosion-resistant. The unstretched length is going to measure about 24 inches. Now, this can stretch up to 75% of the unstretched length, so you're looking at an additional 18 inches with a total stretchable length of about 42 inches.

use them to prevent the (2) bikes from wallowing any on the bike rack.
Bungees are very heavy duty with sturdy clips. I am using these to secure a motorcycle travel bag on my luggage rack and they work perfectly.
Seems sturdy. Really like having a bungee cord with a closed hook.
