Replace a missing Thule key with this equivalent part.I was so close to finally breaking out the hacksaw to get the old lock off my disengaged Thule bike rack. I made the cardinal sin of losing the key to it after a total garage remodel. I tried every spare and odd key- but none worked. I finally looked at the small number on the lock and did a google search- even though I wasn’t sure the lock was a Thule lock. I found the key on etrailer and hoped it would work. Sure enough-it did. Saved me probably $100 for losing the old one and buying a replacement!
Had great luck with easy installation of the trailer wiring harness for my Subaru too. Great products!
I was looking for information, I had Volvo racks but no key. Dealership wanted a lot of dollars...etrailer had info on # for lock, it’s really a Thule ( I kinda knew that). Here’s the key that works for $5. Bought 2. Arrived when they said it wood. American Birkiebinner here we come
Car company wanted $50. For the keys and would be 3 weeks out. etrailer was$5.00 in 3 days. No brainer!
The key worked like a charm as a replacement key for my factory BMW roof bars.

Unfortunately keys did not work. Subtracting shipping costs both receiving and sending...not worth returning the keys.
The product is what I ordered but I paid extra for fast shipping and my item didn’t arrive until 3 days after day it was supposed to arrive.

the key works!
I bought this hoping it would fit a Y002 branded lock cylinder on a Harbor Freight universal roof crossbar. It did not. No fault of the seller, I knew it was a gamble. There is obviously more than one brand of lock cylinder with the Y002 designation.
They did a great job communicating and letting us know when it shipped, and making it easy for us to track during shipping.
I had a SEARS SPORT 20-SV (roof top cargo carrier )with lock numbers 2818 right above where you insert the key. I just added the letter (N) before the. So I ordered N2818 and it worked perfectly!! Two day shipping was right on time.
The key worked thats for the excellent service will tell my family and friends.

If the replacement key was purchased for a Sears Sport 20SV carrier, be aware that the replacement keys are about 1-1/16 of an inch shorter than the original keys. The first time you use the key, give the end a sharp rap with a hammer or a mallet so it seats fully in the lock cylinder. Once the key is fully seated, itll work just fine from there on out.
