Hey guys, Colin here at etrailer. Today we're going to take a look at a pretty cool safety tool. This is a four way lug nut wrench from TowSmart. This lug nut wrench is going to be a great emergency tool to have in your vehicle, provides you with three different fixed lug nut wrench sizes. We have three quarters, 13 sixteenths, and 11 sixteenths. And the fourth side we have is going to be a half inch drive.
So any half-inch drive socket you can use it to put on your tool and that'll give you the size wrench you need to get whatever hardware off.Now probably the most common situation you'll find yourself in with this tool is going to be needing to change your flat tire. Now, obviously we don't have a flat tire right here. This is just going to be for demonstration purposes. And what I really like about this tool is that you can adjust it along that center access to get the proper leverage, to get that lug nut loose. They can go side to side on the one slip and it'll go on the other side as well.
With our current vehicle, we have three quarter inch size lug nuts. So we'll just find our three quarter inch socket. And we'll insert that onto the lug nut. Now from here to get the proper leverage, all I'm going to do is push it as close to the vehicle as I can get it. And then we're going to pull it all the way up so I can get the most amount of leverage possible to loosen that lug nut.
And then obviously when you're all done, you can just tighten it back up and get the leverage you need to get it secured.Now real quick I want to show you guys an example of why the half inch socket drive is going to be useful. Some vehicles out there are going to require a metric measurement for their lug nuts. So having that half inch drive, we can get our 22 millimeter socket. It's going to fit our vehicle right here and now we can get our lug nuts off. Now what's really nice about this emergency tool is that if you tow multiple trailers, maybe you own multiple vehicles, you're going to be able to have one tool that could fit all of them as long as you have that half-inch drive socket set or if you don't have one of the three fixed socket points.
Now what's nice is that if you are done changing it out, all you have to do is push in on this button and that'll get it to fold in on itself. They'll collapse to a very compact size for easy storage. It is going to have a very nice and durable steel construction. It's going to hold up for a lot of use. I received this lug wrench and immediately went out and checked my travel trailer lug nuts. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to put a lot of torque on this tool without demonstrating any weakness. And it collapses and stores easily. Great tool to have on hand...
I ordered the folding adjustable 4 way lug wrench. Got to me in a couple of days, awesome! Pulled it straight out of the box and put the socket I needed on the 1/2" connector and put it to work to test it. Very happy! Works perfect and easy to use! Thank y'all!

Sucks when you have to use it because you have to change a tire, but great to have when you need it. The folding element is an excellent feature.

Actually very surprised how well this is built, and it is strong enough to do the job really like the 1/2 inch sq socket so I can use it with any size socket
