Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the replacement upper strap for the Yakima truck-mounted bike racks. This one replaces a lost or damaged upper strap for your Yakima Quick-Back truck mounted bike carrier. This part number includes the strap, the hook which has the label right there that says "Top," as well as the strap holder. Now this holder contains any excess strap, so you don't have strap flapping in the wind as you travel down the road.The hook is made from a durable steel construction, features a vinyl coating to keep it from scratching your vehicle's paint and finish. The bare end of the strap would feed through the buckling system, located on the bike rack, and then you can pull it tight, wind up any excess, tuck it away in the strap holder.Now again, this is designed for the Yakima Quick-Back 2 and Quick-Back 3 truck mounted bike racks. Replaced all my sunrotted straps. these are just like OEM.
After making a foolish decision to "cut" the excess off the upper straps I found myself in need of replacements when I purchased a new car. Found etrailer on the web and thought I'd give them a try. Not only was the product VERY reasonably priced but delivery was priced reasonably as well and very prompt.

I ordered replacement strap for my Yakima trunk mounted bike carrier. The strap was easy to locate on the website, came within a week, and was reasonably priced.
These were perfect replacement straps from my Yakima KingJoe 3 bike rack. I learned not to leave the bike rack and straps exposed to the elements all day, every day which deteriorated the original straps. It's a little more hassle but I remove and store the rack if I know I'm not riding back to back days so these straps are still in practically new condition after a year of use.
Had my Yakama bike rack for over 30 years. The straps finally gave out. Looked everywhere for a replacement, found at etrailer.com, Was exactly what I was looking for and it is Genuine Yakama parts. Received it within 2 weeks, with all that is going on, was surprised it didn't take longer. I was kept informed about the delivery, and very happy with my purchase.
Fits my Thule bike rack quite well. Seems strong & well made.

Working fine, not signs of wear
Perfect top strap replacements for Big Joe Yakima bike rack. Shipping was quick and customer service was ideal.
Purchased for a Yakima SuperJoe 3 - couldn't find the originals after a while. Price is absolutely right, and this version included a (not pictured) strap keeper installed to help keep the extra from flying all over while driving.
Straps were perfect for my quickback rack. Arrived quickly, too.
The product works perfectly. The price is even better. These straps would have cost more than double at Yakima.
Strong strap, deep hook, and great clip for the excess strap. You won't be disappointed!
