Hi everyone, It's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we'll be taking a look at the Replacement Lower Strap Pair for your Yakima HalfBack Trunk Bike Rack here at etrailer. So this is a direct replacement for the lower strap that goes on your Yakima HalfBack bike rack. So these are straps that usually go underneath your trunk or hatch door, because what may happen over time is that wear and tear does happen and you may damage, bend, or lose your lower straps, so it is nice to know that there is a direct replacement for those parts. This can also be used on your Yakima FullBack bike rack, but it won't be a direct replacement for the FullBack, because it's just an alternative, because it has a slightly different strap style, it will still work, it's just designed a little bit differently. So this one has a strap length of 56 inches long, so that's gonna be measured right over here from your buckle or from your hook all the way to your plastic buckle, and then from that buckle to this loop, which goes into your trunk rack, that's going to be 11 inches long. So instead of the FullBack strap, which that version has a metal cam buckle with a rubber cover, this one uses a plastic buckle, it has no cover, it also has this rubber excess strap fastener, so it's still works great, but that's really the main difference between the two strap styles.
