I had been looking on the Yakima site and other bike-related sites for repair parts for my tray bike carrier. My product (extra set of keys for my vehicle rooftop cargo carrier) arrived as ordered and worked. ETrailer provided me frequent status updates on the progress of the shipment and then double checked on my satisfaction when I received the product. Top shelf service- I couldn't ask for more.
used control key purchased previously to get lock cylinder out. located lock code on side of lock cylinder(tumbler). placed order for correct key to unlock. this was possible because only one of the two cylinders were locked on both ski racks. fast service, affordable shipping
10/10. I ordered about $xx worth of stuff to mount Yakima tracks to a Snugtop Rebel camper shell on a Friday evening and it arrived the following Tuesday afternoon with express shipping. Everything was as described, prices were the best I found, and I will definitely order from here again.
As long as you know the key number, you will always get a perfect replacement from Yakima. If you lose keys, write the key # down somewhere because it isn't marked on the lock itself (unlike Thule).
All I did was google my yakima key number and etrailer popped right up. I double checked key price on another online retailer and etrailer was cheaper!! My key came, it worked, and all is good! Thank you etrailer!
These were perfect replacements for the originals that came with my Yakima Rocketbox (purchased Jan 2001).
The replacement key works exactly as expected. Shipping was fast. Make sure you specify A### serial for your specific key.
