What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're checking out this bumper-mounted carrier from Valterra. So what this is gonna be for is putting your EZ coupler sewer fittings in here. That way we don't have to put them inside rig and stink it up. Let's check it out. It's gonna be great for storing your easy coupler fittings that might not fit into the normal four inch by four inch bumper.

So you see I put all these back in there and you find how they fit in just right but the opening is bigger, so it's gonna have a five and a half inch diameter. So it's gonna give you more space to fit those couplers in there. Then you can seal it up. Once you got it loaded up, you're gonna push the cap on with a seat into those grooves and then you'll slide it down which locks it. And now you see at this point there's a hole here, so you can put a padlock to lock it so that nobody can mess with this when you're not around.

At the end of the cap here, there's gonna be two holes, so it is vented so you don't have to worry about it just having that odor build up on the inside or anything else growing is gonna be able to let that out. Also, the whole canister is gonna be six inches wide by six inches tall and then 16 and a half inches long. It going to be made out of PVC, so it's sturdy enough to hold those fittings and attaches pretty easily too. You have two different options where you go to install it. We use the hose bands that just wrapped around the bumper.

You just attach it and then I use the drill to tighten those up around the bumper. It's not gonna damage anything or scratch the bumper, but holds it on there tight. You see I can shake it back and forth. Seems just fine. They also give you self tapping screws if you wanna just use the holes here on the side to permanently mount into the bumper as well.

We have four pieces of the easy coupler kit here. We're only able to fit three of them in the storage tube today. Just wanted to show you, it's always easier for me to figure it out when I see the stuff going there. So the elbow I'm gonna put in there first because that's the most likely where we're gonna have problems running it into the bumper of the four by four. It might not always fit because of that bend. So we'll get that in the canister and then you can figure out how the rest of them fit in there from there. That looks pretty good there. You just put the cap on and slide it over. With smaller parts like this, this can easily just fit in your bumper with no problems. Overall, I do like this canister. It's not just a piece of PVC pipe, so I appreciated that. The vented holes here on the cap that slides over there, the extra attention to here where I can add a lock if I need to, just to keep it locked up. Easy as it was to install, I like the hose clamps instead of permanently mounted and drilling holes in the bumper. It worked really nicely and like I showed you earlier, it's not going anywhere and now I have a place to store everything that I don't have to worry about getting moldy or smelling real bad.
