What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna checking out these Ultra-Fab bug screens. So they're gonna go on the vents of your Suburban or Dometic vents and they're gonna help keep bugs from getting on the inside. Let's check it out. Definitely wanna keep your vents covered up. You don't want a bunch of bugs to get in there.
It'll make a mess that you'll have to clean up later. So it's always good to put these in to place. With a spring, you don't have to permanently attach them or anything, you see how they fit towards the vent. So I can push around a little bit while you're moving, you know, it's not gonna lose its place, it's gonna stay right there. And this comes in a two pack, so you can put one on the top one and the bottom one and only order one pack.
Just to give a sense of scale, we got a 7/64ths inch hex head tool, won't fit through the holes on the screen, just to help you out and visualize. I know that sometimes with the screens, some bugs can still get through. On this one, wasps and flies won't be able to get through. These holes are too small, but maybe some gnats still will. As far as install goes, it's pretty easy.
You're gonna get a tool included with it and a spring that goes on the inside. So you run the spring through the mesh front. Now one thing to point out with the spring, if you can see here, there's a bar in the center. Now that goes towards the vent, because you're gonna use the tool to push it through the front. You wanna try and get it in the center for your attaching points or as close as you can.
So we'll run this through. Be careful when you're running the tool through, you might have to push on it a little bit. You don't want it to hit your hand. So once you've done that, now and put the spring in place, you see that the middle of the tool is cut out. So that part goes on the center of that spring. You see how it's run through the tool now, so I can push in on that spring, go over here to the vent. We're gonna push with the tool, so you push that out, so it'll hook on the center and you're done. Overall, really easy to install, so I like that. And it's just worth getting them to cover it up, so you don't have problems down the line. Something you can easily switch them on if they get damaged. They do come in a quantity of two, so you can get a two-pack to easily replace or have some spare just, in case something goes wrong or you lose one down the road. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out, I hope this helps.
