Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement hitch arm assembly for the Thule Cadence bike trailers. Now, this part here will replace the hitch arm assembly for your Thule Cadence bike trailer. This part is an aluminum construction. And as we've mentioned, it's designed to work with the Thule Cadence part number 10101802 and part number 10101812. Both of those bike trailers we do sell separately on our website.

This part here will include the hitch arm itself, the easy hitch cup, the rubber hitch strap already attached and right here the backup strap already attached. Now, basically what happens is this arm right here is what'll insert into the bracket at the front of your bike trailer. And then on the other end, you'll have this easy hitch cup right here. This will attach to the skewer on your bike's rear axle. And what this actually allows you to do is you take the ball end here of the hitch arm, drop it in there and that is what'll connect it to your bike, the rear axle of your bike.

Then the rubber hitch strap right here is what'll go through the two holes. Put that pin through the two holes just like that. Take this rubber section here and just pull it tight like that around there and it holds it connected to your bike. And then the backup strap that's included, this is a safety strap that'll provide a second connection between your hitch arm and your bike. You'll run this around the frame of your bike and then clip it right down here.

Gives you another second connection. Now, this part here is a factory Thule replacement part. This is one of the many Thule replacement parts that we do carry for your Thule bike trailer. But that should do it for the review on this replacement hitch arm assembly for the Thule Cadence bike trailer.
