Just did ~500miles with about 5k worth of car plus trailer over hill and dale.

Works great. No detectable wobbling, but pins are easy to get through holes (not too tight or misaligned). Heavy, but not like, completely unwieldy.711602

Thank you all, Katie D., Jena D., Julie MH., as well as Everyone else at E-Trailer who helped me to identify, locate, order, recieve all the towing and hitch related items. Makes my life, towing, much more simple. I had for quite awhile been looking for a short rise and drop hitch sleeve with a 2” ball and 1 7/8” ball combination. Having contacted E-Trailer directly with my specific request, shortly thereafter, you came up with #AM3295 - EZ Hitch Adjustable Ball Mount, with a 4” Rise/Drop, with a 2” and 1 7/8” ball combo by Anderson. PERFECT! With the locking pins to match, same key, #AM3493, also by Anderson, I have on my 2013 Tundra at all times, everything I need or could use. Nothing to go missing, search for, take on and off. From 6 or more items down to just 2 locked in place. I am also most grateful for all the time and effort it took to get the extra set of keys. Overall it is a great hitch that serves it purpose. Initially I was very impressed with the build quality and heavy duty construction of the hitch. However, there a few issues that I have with the hitch after using it for a little over a year. Below are my pros and cons.

Pros
1. Built out of heavy duty materials
2. Lots of height adjustment for a variety of trailers
3. The two pin design allows the ball mount to fit snugly in the adjustment sleeve and doesn't allow much side to side or up and down movement.

Cons
1. The pin hole in the hitch is pretty far back on the shaft of the receiver. This makes it so that the hitch sticks out farther than I would prefer in my receiver and allows a good amount of "wiggle" or play up and down. It would be nice if the hole would have been drilled 1/2"-1" further back
2. The finish does not stand up. I keep this hitch under the back seat of my truck until I need it, then it is on my truck for only as long as the trailer is on (usually only a day), and then it goes back under the seat of m truck. I have had it on my truck for 1 or 2 rainy days and one or two snowy days and it is already starting to rust through the powder coat on all the black parts. The ball assembly is also starting to dull and look like it has a layer of corrosion on it.

Overall it serves it's intended purpose and works good but the longevity of the finish is concerning, especially sine this hitch spends the majority of it's time in my back seat and not exposed to the elements. I wouldn't want to think what it would look like if I just left it on all the time. I am also not a big fan of slop in my hitches. I like all my towing connections to as tight as possible.370513

I purchased this hitch for my son. He has three different trailers and of course each coupling is a different measurement. What a great solution! I had questions answered, customer service was great and shipping was extremely fast. I have purchased multiple items from etrailer and I'm sure this will not be the last. Whenever I have questions about lighting, harnesses, hitches etc. this is the first place I check.

This is my first adjustable hitch. So far it is working very well for me. The hitch is very sturdy. I tow a Carry-All trailer and a boat. With this hitch I can adjust to the appropriate height for each instead of compromising or towing in an unsafe manner. Also, towing my trailer in a more level position allows me to load the trailer correctly.783171
