Skewer adjusts with one hand, allowing you to steady the bike with your free hand during loading.We got 2 replacement skewers for our roof bike racks because ours had seized up. They work just as the old ones did. We are a little concerned that we’ve had to replace them multiple times for the same reason - but that’s a Thule issue, not etrailer.
etrailer customer service was incredible. We got an actual person on the phone with minimal wait time. We needed to rush the shipping and they were able to do that for a reasonable price - the item arrived as promised. The agent was able to look up our previous order to make sure we were getting the right parts (which, at first we were not - and the correct part was actually less expensive). Also, the customer service agent gave us her name, extension, and email address of the customer if we had any issues - which we didn’t.
This is the second time we’ve ordered from etrailer and I would absolutely recommend them!

I continue to have issues with the straps getting stuck once they have been fully cinched
product does what it says. works fine.
etrailer is prompt and helpful. they have are the keyed locks available to ensure single key operation.

Great bike carrier in and of itself. But despite being advertised on this site as compatible with Toyota RAV4 factory crossbars, it didn’t quite fit. Used some bolt cutters to shorten the back end bolts on the front attachment and it worked well enough to be secure. Other than that it’s a great carrier.
Always impressed with etrailer service, delivery and follow-through. Thule product arrived as expected with simple installation thanks to etrailer videos.

Still very happy with our purchase! If anyone else has this product, we’ve found that lubricating it once a month or so with graphite has fixed the seizing issue we were having. Even after not using the skewers through the winter, we had no problems this year.
