Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're going be taking a look at the Boost 110 Adapter for Kuat Trio Bike Rack. Now if you have the Thru style Axle with that Boost 110 Thru Axle fork, this is going to be an adapter to make that work with your Kuat Trio Bike Rack. That's either part number RU01 or TR02. Both of those available here at etrailer.com but chances are you already have them, so that's why you're here. Now this is going to replace the tube that's already in your Trio Bike Rack.

Basically you want to loosen up that bolt at the front of the head of the rack. It should come with that Allen key. To do that, loosen it up to the left and then pop that axle out and replace it with this adapter.On either side here it has little note to let you know to insert to the line on the driver's side, so whichever way you put it in, it doesn't really matter, but you want to push it up to that line to where it's visible on the driver's side, so it's printed on there, should you forget and just want to refer to that so you know where to push this through and then you'll use your bike's axle to or your skewer to actually go through and secure your bike down. So it will allow you to use that bike with your Trio. There are other adapters available for the Kuat Trio if you have different bikes, you can find those again here at etrailer.com.

This is made of a nice rust proof aluminum so you don't have to worry about it ever rusting or corroding out on us. Still stays really durable, relatively lightweight.It does have a limited lifetime warranty from Kuat and this measures 110 millimeters long by 20 millimeters in diameter. If you want to know what that is in inches it's about four and three eighths inches long and outside diameter there is just about an inch.
