Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this Thule replacement saddle assembly. This is going to replace one saddle assembly for your Set-To-Go Glide and Set or Roll Model Roof Mounted Kayak Carriers. And as you know, this does mount directly to your Thule square load bars, round crossbar, and most factory bars, but it does require carriage bolts, hand knob, and bracket. Of course, those items are sold separately from this assembly and this is going to adjust to accommodate different hull sizes with this side mounted hand knob, I can see that's going to be adjustable and once you get that adjustment that you need, you'll just tighten down that hand knob and it will hold it there.
So this is the direct replacement from Thule. So what that means for you is you can trust that this is going to fit right in place of that original, whether that original somehow got damage or misplaced. You're not gonna have to worry about fitment issues, compatibility issues, or anything like that. This is going to be just like that one that you're needing to be replaced. Well, that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today.

I chose the lease expensive method for shipping and still received the replacement saddles in less than three (3) days. The saddles were exactly what I needed and fit my Thule rack perfectly. This particular style will conform to ANY kayak hull...sit-in or sit-on. They also have a lot of "grip" so your boat doesn't wiggle around up there as you're heading down the road, especially in the hot summer months when the hull tends to flex and give more.

I've always used Thule products and when I needed a part for my Crossroads system, my web search took me to your site. Got the part I needed and really quick. Then I wanted get saddles for another boat, again I found I could buy only the saddle and not the base, I ordered four of these saddles and swapped the bases with another set I already had. I bought this to replace an older version of a Thule kayak saddle that was damaged. This newer model is not strong enough to hold the angle of the saddle when it is under the pressure of tightened straps. It will work, but at a lower angle than desired as the straps are tightened down.
