Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this hybrid marine brass tire sensor for the TST TPMS systems. This is for a quantity of one sensor. Now, this sensor here will let you monitor an additional tire with your TST tire pressure monitoring system that's on your boat trailer. This is designed for use with boat trailers that are submerged in water, and the reason is 'cause it is laser sealed.
It does not have a user replaceable battery. The battery life on this sensor is up to four years. Now this will work, it is compatible with rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems, and it does install very easily onto your tire's valve stem just by screwing it on. And just to demonstrate that, (clears throat) I happen to have a rubber valve stem right here, you can see. So if you just remove the tire cap, valve stem cap, take your sensor and then just go ahead and thread it on there, and then just tighten it until it tightens up.
Once it gets tight, now you're all ready to go and you can just register it with your TPMS system. If you ever have to put air in your tires or remove any air, all you have to do is just remove this, put your air in, take your air out, whatever, put your sensor back on. (clears throat) A few specs on this, I'm gonna give you dimensions on this. The diameter is 1 1/8 inches. The height is gonna be right at one inch tall.
Now, the pressure range on this sensor is zero PSI to 218 PSI. Temperature range is to work in is negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit, up to 176 degrees Fahrenheit, and it is for a quantity of one tire sensor. But that should do it for the review on this hybrid marine brass tire sensor for the TST TPMS systems.
