Today we're going to be taking a look at part number LP25SB. This is the Optronics trailer license plate light bracket. It's made a durable, rust proof poly carbonate material. It's very strong and durable. It has a nice black finish on it. It's made to be used with licence light part number LP91CB and a two wire pig tail plug, part number A46PB.
Those items are sold separately and they can be found here on our website. It's going to feature two mounting holes. These are going to separated on center by two inches. If we take a look at the overall dimensions, it's going to give us a length of 3 and 7/16 of an inch, a width that's measuring from back to front of 2 and 5/16 of an inch and then a depth . Looks like we got about 2 and 11/16 of an inch. I do have the light that it's designed to be used with and it's very simple. All you have to do is feed the wires through and then the light is going to snap into place.
It's going to click into place so it's going to have a nice, tight fit. I'll go ahead and hook it up to our external power source. That way you can see what it looks like and how it shines the light at a downward angle. That way it would illuminate the license plate. You can see there how it has this front shield on it so it directs the light at a downward angle.
It is designed for surface mount installation, so it's designed to be mounted on a flat surface. That's going to do it for today's review of part number LP25SB. This is the Optronics trailer license plate light bracket. .

The License plate light mounting bracket (LP25Sb) and the license plate light (LPL91Cb were east to install and work great.
The mounting bracket is heavy duty and the light installs securely inside the bracket.
Perfect replacement for the damaged original lamp on my 2005 Ram-Lin boat trailer used for my Ski Nautique boat.

Still working fine.
I like everything about this product other than the lack of an LED option. This light is for a boat trailer and I was committed to LEDs for all the lights. Since it only needs to light up the license plate it is completely adequate. Instillation was simple and problem free.
I hope the light last a long time because it is never coming back out of the bracket once it is snapped in!
Seems well made, no mounting hardware, does not fit the lp20sb license plate bracket.
Just the right thing for boat trailers. I do not know why MFG's don't use this product instead of something that rusts. Etrailer service was excellent and the shipping was super fast.
