Today we're going to take a quick look at the Solera 18-Inch Projection Window Awning Support Arms for your RV.Now this is going to be an important component to make sure that your awning arms are working as they should. This is going to be the bottom portion, so this bracket is what actually mounts to the side of your RV, and then the rest of it is going to be that support beam that comes out to hold your awning.It comes with the hardware to mount both of our arms to the RV. It's going to be eight screws total, that have a little white head to make it a little bit more hidden, and then two larger screws for our strap hook. The strap hook is going to mount again to the side of your RV. That's where you take your pull strap down and then slide it on there to hold that awning out.We'll get both arms. These are again going to be the lower portion, so there will be another portion that comes out of the top, that actually connects to the awning itself.

That is sold separately. You can see there's a hole at the top to allow the cap to go over, and mount in place.These are going to be 18 inches long, and they are required to mount your window awning. It's going to work with windows under 33 inches tall, so it'll be 33 inches tall. This is going to have a fixed pitch type. As you can see, they come in white.Now, to order these you'll want to measure the outside frame to outside frame of the window you desire to cover, and round up to the next size.

Then you'll measure the height of the window. If a window measures 32 inches or greater, you'll want to use the extra large model arms which would be a separate part number than these. You will also need to have one part number for the window awning roller, and one part number for the hardware arms, to make up a complete awning kit.
