Kelty Canopy Pole - Aluminum - 78" Long

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this Kelty, six and a half foot long, canopy pole. This is a nice, lightweight, aluminum pole, so it's going to resist rust, and corrosion. It's also going to be super easy to take along with you, and they do include this pack here. So, you can just slide this pole, when you have it torn down like this, just slide it in there, so it's not going to come apart, to go along with you.

This weighs little less than a pound, about 0.8 of a pound, so it is going to be very lightweight, especially for those of you who are backpacking, that's always going to be an important component. And then assembles super easy, that full six and a half foot height. I'm about six three, and you can see, it's well above my head. You've got this, two inch long, grommet tip. That's going to allow you to secure your canopy tarps, grommet in place there.

And the other end is going to have this shoe, so that you're not going to be digging into the ground. That's going to give you a nice, solid platform to put this on. So, when we have it broken down, it's going to go from that 78 inch, or six and a half foot height down to, just under two feet. It's about 21 and a half inches long. So again, very easy to pack up, take along with you, and assemble when you're ready to use it.

It is a nice blue color, which I like. I like blue, personally, but I think that's also going to help make it more visible, so that you don't run into it. Might still to kinda blend in at night, in a low light situation, but, the majority of the time, that's going to be pretty eye-catching, so you should be able to avoid it, so you don't tear down the whole, canopy set up.
