Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the JR Products double rocker switch. This is going to be an on-off modular switch. So it'll be able to control any of our accessories powered by a battery, our lights, maybe a fan in our camper or RV, or really anywhere we;d want to use it. The thing that I like about this is that we have these nice oversized switches.
So it makes it easy to see and control. You can easily turn them both on or both off at the same time and control your accessories.So as far as the specs with this, it is going to be a modular SPST, which means it's going to be a single pole single throw. Basically it just controls one thing, turning it on or off. So it works out well for a lot of different accessories. It's going to be rated for 13 amps at 125 volts AC and 10 amps at 250 volts AC, can power a one horsepower item, and it has an output of five amps at 14 volts T.
As far as the size, it's about three and three quarters of an inch long by about three and a half inches wide.As far as the depth, we go from the back to where the switches come out at their widest, it's about one and a quarter inch thick. Each of our switches just for reference is about three inches long. It's kind of curved here. It does come in white. It is UL, CSA, and VDE approved.
It is made in the USA. Just have our connections to make on the back. There's a little diagram that comes with the packaging to let you know which function goes where on those terminals, but that's going to do it for our look at the JR Products double rocker switch.
