Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Front Runner Hard Shell Tent Mount Brackets for the James Baroud and Autohome tents on your Front Runner Racks and Crossbars. It is for a quantity of four brackets. Now these mounting brackets right here will let you use select James Baroud and Autohome Hard Shell Rooftop Tents on your Front Runner Slim Line II platform rack, roof rack or truck bed rack. And just to show you what we're talking about, I'm going to pop up an insert. That insert, if you notice, will show you the underside of the platform rack and you can see those black highlighted, that's these brackets here.
You can see they're designed to hold a hard shell tent on top of your platform rack. Basically the four brackets install around the slats or the crossbars and they provide the mounting points for your tent. Now this does include different lengths bolts. I put these together with the longer bolts. There's also the shorter bolts here.
Basically the different lengths, the longer bolts are if you're gonna install it on a roof rack, and the shorter bolts you'll use if you're gonna use it on crossbars. These mounts will give you the proper lateral support even if your rack is narrower or wider than your tent base. It is adjustable to match the profile of the Slim Line II platform rack. Does include everything shown here, all the installation hardware, nice set of detailed instructions. The parts are a black powder coated steel to resist corrosion.
And again, as we mentioned, the application, they work on the Front Runner Slim Line II platform rack, the Front Runner Truck Bed Crossbars. Now they are not compatible with the Slim Sport Racks or the Slim Pro Van Roof Racks. But that should do it for the review on the Front Runner Hard Shell Tent Mount Brackets for the James Baroud and Autohome tents on the Front Runner racks and crossbars.
