Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a quick look at our no-drill mount kit for the Firestone Command. This is going to allow you to mount your air compressor on your vehicle without having to drill through the frame, which can often take a long time. And also you're making modifications to your vehicle, so it's not always ideal for everyone.This allows you to have an easy way to mount that, instead just using the two brackets to sandwich that frame and get everything mounted up. So we'll be able to mount our compressor to the four small holes here, tip it up so you can actually see those.
They're going to be four small holes that our compressor will fit into, and then right next to it will go our ECU or that little operating unit to control everything. So there's two holes that that will mount into as well.So pretty easy to get that in place. You just mount the two units to the bracket, mount the bracket to your frame, use the two carriage bolts, go around that portion, and you're good to go. It's always good to make sure that you keep this somewhere nice and high, away from most water and things like that. You don't want your compressor or your ECU to get splashed all the time by your tires, so just be kind of mindful whenever you're installing that.In our kit, we're just going to get the kind of L-shaped bracket, two carriage bolts, our smaller plate bracket and then two locking flange nuts.
This is designed to work specifically with the kit F2610, and that's also available here at etrailer.com. It's going to be the air command compressor system with light duty compressor. It's going to be a single path, smartphone enabled wireless compressor system, so really good fit for a lot of folks out there.As far as the overall size of our bracket, front to back or side to side, however you want to look at it, it's going to be about 11 inches long. And then about two and seven eighths inches deep for this portion. And then about three and five eighths inches tall.
Our carriage bolts going from our threads, it's going to have about four and three quarters of an inch of threads to work with. Our plate bracket here is going to be the same length, about 11 inches long. Or actually about 10 and a half inches long. And then just an inch wide. We'll have a couple options as far as the spacing for our carriage bolts.
We'll have these wider two square holes and then the narrower two, so it just kind of depends on where you want that to be.The distance between those, the furthest ones out, center to center, it's about nine and a half inches. From this hole to the second one out, it's about seven and a quarter inch. From the two narrowest, it's about six and a quarter. And then from this one to the furthest one out, it's about eight and a half. So you have some options as far as getting that width where you need it to be.That's going to do it for our look at the no-drill mount for your Firestone Air Command compressor kit.
