Best Air Bags For 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty With In-Bed Hitch

Question:

I am looking to install air bags to my 2016 Ford 250 4WD 6.7. I tow a 7500 lb bumper pull trailer plus haul items in the bed frequently. My bed has the flip over gooseneck ball. What air springs do you recommend?

The best air bags for your 2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty that are going to give you the best support and are compatible with an in-bed hitch are from Firestone, with the correct fit for your truck being the following:

- Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2597

The Firestone air bags are the best option because they are the most well-constructed air bags available, and this is particularly important for you due to the fact you both tow a trailer and haul items in your F-250's truck bed frequently. The reason the Ride-Rite air bags are a higher quality is because they are made with four layers of reinforced rubber, which is a thicker, more reliable construction than other air bags, which have just two layers of rubber.

During the installation of these air bags, you are going to want to ensure your air lines are cut perfectly straight, and the best way to do this is by using the Air Hose Cutter # AL10530. Also, I highly recommend adding a compressor, the Air Command Compressor System - Wireless - Smartphone Enabled # F2610.

A compressor is going to make it much, much simpler to ensure your air bags are always inflated to the proper psi and keep them maintained. Since your truck will be getting extensive use with towing and heavy loads, this compressor will ensure you aren't constantly having to make stops and check their pressure. The # F2610 is also totally unique because it allows you to adjust the air pressure in the bags from the comfort of your truck's cab with just your smartphone, so it is super simple to use. It can be easily mounted with No-Drill Mount Kit # F2612.

I have added links below to vide reviews and installs for you to check out as well of the compressor and the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2597.
