That's a good question, and we can definitely point you in the right direction for Firestone air bags on your 2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty. The weight ratings are exactly what you said, the amount of weight it can assist up to; so when towing a trailer, the air bags have a capacity of up to either 5,000 lbs or 7,500 lbs.

You really only need the 7,500 lb Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F95FV when towing a 5th wheel trailer that will have a pin weight of more than 5,000 lbs, otherwise there just isn't a reason to spend more for the higher-rated system.

So for standard trailer towing for a bumper-mounted trailer, or anything but a large 5th wheel, I highly recommend sticking with the 5,000 lb Firestone Ride-Rite option. For your 2021 Ford F-250, the correct one will depend on if you have 2WD or 4WD.

- 4-Wheel Drive: Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F35FV

- 2-Wheel Drive: Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2600

During the installation of these air bags, you are going to want to ensure your air lines are cut perfectly straight, and the best way to do this is by using the Air Hose Cutter # AL10530.

Additionally, I highly recommend adding a compressor in order to make it much simpler to inflate and maintain your air bags. The easiest system to use, because it allows you to control the compressor with just an app on your smartphone, is the Air Command Compressor System # F2610.

There is a clamp-on mounting kit for your F-250 for this system as well, the No-Drill Mount Kit # F2612. I have added links below to some video reviews of the air bags and compressor for you to take a look at.
