Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at their replacement toilet bowls seal kit for your Dometic RV toilet. This is also going to fit the VacuFlush and SeaLand toilets, so some of the earlier or older models out there.We'll have the thicker upper seal and then the thinner lower seal. You want to put this one on first. It does have a little embossed label here that says this side up. You can see the angle of this inner lip, this would be kind of angled down or kind of chamfered in, so it's going to give us a better connection with our flush ball, that's going to be the valve that actually opens up and lets all the waste go down.
This sits right on top of that ball valve and that's why it has that edge. You want to make sure that you have it on the right side, and you want to align the hole and the notch in the right place, and then get the upper gasket to fit over that as well. Match those up better than I just did to make sure that everything's in the right spot.Now we do have another toilet bowl seal kit here at etrailer.com, so if yours does not have those overflow holes, you'll need that different set. Thought I would save some money by using an aftermarket seal kit in my rv toilet. Now I'm replacing it again 4 months later. Save money in the long run by getting original equipment from etrailer.
