Today we're going take a look at the Derale single-stage fan control thermostat with the dual probes. Now this will let you automatically control your electric radiator fan with this thermostatic switch and it will provide necessary air flow for sufficient cooling by switching your fan on when the temperature reaches 180 degrees and it will conserve power by shutting off your radiator fan if the fluid temperature falls below 165 degrees. Again, this part will include everything here on the table. Starts with this thermostatic switch and then this kit will include two thermostat probe options. You just choose the option that best fits your application. It'll include both a water jacket, thread-in probe and a push in radiator probe.
The thread-in probe right here. This is designed to install into a three eighths inch diameter NPT port, either on the radiator, the water neck and intake manifold or cylinder heads.Basically, the switch will just thread into that probe and then you put that where you need to. And the other option is the pushing probe. This is designed to install into your radiator fins as close as possible to your water inlet. Basically, again, this will push through your radiator and you'll attach your thermostatic switch just like that on the end of the probe.
And then the probe will be held in place in the radiator fins with this pad and this retaining clip.So you just choose the option that works best for you. Also will include this inline fuse holder with the included 20 amp fuse, seven feet of 14 gauge wire to make your electrical connections, all the electrical connectors you need, some cable ties and a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how to install it. This kit is made in the USA. A few specs again, the thermostatic switch is rated at a maximum 15 amps continuous draw, and the thread-in probe, again, fits into a three eights inch diameter NPT threads, but that should do it for the review on the Derale single-stage fan control thermostat with the dual probes.
