  • 4,000 CFM Radiator Fan and Shroud Recommendation for Trans Am with LS3 Engine
The Derale 25-5/8" Dual High-Output, Electric Radiator Fan w/ Aluminum Shroud and Vents # D16826 would be a great choice for a fan setup for your 2001 Pontiac Trans Am with a LS3 engine. For a thermostatic controller for the fan setup you would want the # D16788. This setup will flow 4,000 CFM which should do well to cool your modified LS3 engine that I am jealous of. I have a heads/cam LS1 in my 1998 Trans Am, but few engines have the potential as the LS3.

  • Dual Radiator Fan Control Kit Recommenation for a 2001 Dodge Intrepid
If your dual-fans are aftermarket I have a solution for you. I would recommend the Derale Dual-Fan Adjustable Fan-Control Thermostat with Push-In Radiator Probe # D16788. This kit will allow you to control both fans so that either will kick on at preset temperature ranges. If it is a factory fan setup the best recommendation I could make would be to contact a dealer or a local auto parts store to find the correct temperature sensor for your 2001 Dodge Intrepid.

  • Fit of Derale # D16826 Electric Fan on 2007 Nissan Armada
The Derale Dual High-Output Electric Radiator fan you mentioned, part # D16826 is not a vehicle specific item. It will work with your vehicle if there's enough room to accommodate its 25-5/8 inches long x 17-1/8 inches tall x 3-1/2 inches deep size. A fan control thermostat like part # D16788 would also be needed.

  • What Is Needed To Install the Derale Electric Radiator Fans
I do have everything that you need to use the Derale 27" Dual High-Output, Electric Radiator Fan-and-Shroud Assembly part # D16837 but it does not come with any of the wiring or relays needed to power the fans as Derale stopped including them. It simply comes with the fans, shroud, and mounting bracket/hardware. In order to wire the fan up I recommend using either the PWM Fan Controller part # D16795 or the Derale Dual-Fan Adjustable Fan-Control part # D16788. The main difference between...

  • Will a Derale Electric Radiator Fan Fit a 2007 Nissan Armada
To determine if the Derale electric radiator fan # D16825 will fit your 2007 Nissan Armada, you have to look at its external dimensions and compare that to the available space in the engine compartment of your Armada. The fan is 25-5/8 inches wide, 15-1/8 inches tall, and 3-1/2 inches deep. In metric units it is 65 cm by 38-1/2 cm by 8.9 cm. This is a puller fan only meaning it has to be between the radiator and motor and pulls air through the radiator. You would not wire it directly to...

  • Does Thermostat Control For Derale Electric Radiator Fan D16826 Operate Fans Independently
That's a good question, and while there is a thermostatic fan control that allows you to turn the fan on at the temperature you want, the fans are not able to turn on or be controlled independently. The fan you asked about and its control are the following part numbers: - Derale 25-5/8" Dual High-Output, Electric Radiator Fan w/ Aluminum Shroud and Vents - 4,000 CFM # D16826 - Derale Dual-Fan Adjustable Fan-Control Thermostat with Push-In Radiator Probe # D16788 The fan control can be...

  • Thermostat Recommendation for Use with Derale Electric Radiator Fan-and-Shroud Assembly # D16928
The Derale 29" High-Output, Electric Radiator Fan-and-Shroud Assembly # D16928 comes with everything needed except a switch setup. The best switch solution will be a thermostatically controlled one so that you don't have to worry about manually switching the fans off and on. Since this is a dual fan setup the best solution will be the Derale Dual-Fan Adjustable Fan-Control Thermostat with Push-In Radiator Probe # D16788 which will control each fan independently to preset temperatures.

  • Will the Derale 26" Radiator Fan Fit My 1977 Corvette?
The Derale 26" Dual High-Output, Electric Radiator Fan w/Aluminum Shroud Assembly - 4,000 CFM # D16842 will fit your 1977 Corvette as long as there is space within your hood for you to install it. Since the fan comes with all the mounting brackets, hardware and installation instructions, you will not need to have any additional parts for the fan to activate manually. If you took out the factory fan, there will most likely be enough room for you to attach the Derale fan. I went ahead and...
