Jeff Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, I'm gonna take a look at this replacement towed car quick connect kit for the Demco SBS Air Force One supplemental braking system. Now this part will replace the Demco SBS Air Force One quick connect kit that's on the front of your towed car. Now if you have a damaged one or you just need a new one this is gonna be the component that sits at the front of your tow vehicle. And it gives you your connection to the air fitting so that you can run your air hose from your RV to your towed vehicle.
Air hose will connect right there. Now this kit will include everything shown here on the table. It includes the male quick connect with the cap. You can see the cap when you're not plugged in. Just put that on it to protect it.
And on the very back comes with the 1/4 inch female elbow push lock fitting. You can see you just take your air line, push it in there, push it all the way and it'll lock the air line in to place. The L mount bracket right here that you'll mount to your vehicle. And then it'll come with the two 1/4 inch nylon lock nuts, the two fender washers, and the two 1/4 inch grade 5 hex bolts for installing this. My ratings were poor because you are advertising a product that is painted black and that is what I ordered. The product I received was unpainted bare medal. Now I have to take the time to go buy paint and paint the bracket that I was let to believe was painted black in the first place. You should not be advertising a black bracket that is not black. In a nutshell that sums up my rating...
Perfect fit for my air force one brake system.
Ability to get a small part for my Demco pneumatic breaking system and to get it quickly was awesome.
