Today we're gonna take a look at the DeeZee replacement premium toolbox mounting kit. This is going to allow you to mount your toolbox in the bed of your truck. These bottom clamps are going to pull up against the bed rail of your truck bed. The bolt comes down through your toolbox itself and it does have that side flange or washer there to provide the pulling the force against your box.The nice thing about this being a little wider tab than just the bolt is that it's gonna spread out that pulling force so it doesn't bend your toolbox as it clamps down, and the wider base at the bottom is also going to disburse that energy out so we don't, again, bend our bed rail either.It does have some teeth on that bottom J hook to give a little bit better grip. This can be used with pretty much any of the toolboxes out there. It's designed to fit just about anything or any truck.
One thing that I will note, though, they do suggest that if you have one of the Ford trucks that have the aluminum body that you use part number DeeZee 97910. Instead of being a smaller block like this it's a little bit longer, so, again, it's going to disburse that weight or that pulling force even more since aluminum tends to bend more than your steel truck.You can also find that here on Etrailer.com. If you have a Ford you'll want to pick that one up instead.This one is going to be made of a strong 6000 series aluminum and it is sold as a pair so we'll get one for either side along with the Allen key to get that in place. It's a really simple install. You might have to drill holes if they're not already in your toolbox to get that through the bolt.The hook at the bottom is going to be about an inch and an eighth wide by about an inch and an eighth long, and most of it of the solid portion there, that's gonna be about five-eighths deep.
At the hook going up, that's going to be a little bit wider. That's more like seven-eighths. Our bolts are going to be about three inches long. That's gonna do it for our look at the DeeZee replacement premium toolbox mounting kit.

Worked very well on my tool box. Have ordered several things and always had great service would recommend these guys to any one.
The product works perfectly. The solid aluminum blocks are strong and the bolts thread through them smoothly.
It was very easy to install. Take a 1/4" drill bit and drill holes in your new tool box from the open inside. Make the hole about an 1/8" from drilling the inside of your bed so that the aluminum cleat can attach on the inside bottom of your bed rail.
This is a great option if you don't want to drill holes in your truck. My 2009 Rangers tool box is now complete.
This mounting kit is the way to go when installing your tool box, unlike the J hooks that come with most of the boxes the treads stick up in the box and are in the way, now with the Dee Zee mounting kit the bolts screw down into the box leaving only the head of the bolt this is a much better design and is a great product.
The tool box mounting kit arrived on time, was easy to install and has done exactly what it's supposed to do. Very pleased.

The kit components were easy to install, and they hold the tool box down firmly on the edge of the truck's cargo box. This is a superior method of mounting a tool box as compared with simply screwing the tool box to the truck, and it avoids damage to the cargo box.
These work really great and keep you from having to drill holes in your truck bed to hold on the tool box. Really good idea. Wish I would have thought of it.
Have not installed yet but they appear to be well made.

I really like the mount kit I got around town all I can access is plastic ones that keep breaking these kits hold and u won't have to worry about them breaking if someone would ask me what toolbox mounting kit they should get I would definitely recommend this kit.
"Better Built" tool box in my 2014 Tacoma had the cheap plastic "Better Built Grip Rite" clamps. They are plastic and break with hand tightening.....useless. These Dee Zee clamps mounted to the inside track and are simple and easy to install with solid metal design. etrailer had a great price! Thanks Dave
