Today we'll be reviewing part number CAM42141. These are the Camco RV Insect Screens for DuoTherm and Suburban furnace vents. It does have a quantity of two. These insect screens are going to install over your RV's furnace vent to help keep out wasps, birds, rodents, and other types of pests. It's also going to prevent damage from nests that interfere with air flow. Very simple to install. It does come with the installation tool.
It has a groove here at the tip that you can slide through the wired portion of the vent cover and you can grab the other side of the spring and adjust that as needed to attach to the vent and hold the screen securely in place. Again, these are designed to fit DuoTherm and Suburban furnace vents. Each protector is going to give us a diameter of 3" and each one's going to give us an overall height of about 1-1/4". That's going to do it for today's review of part number CAM42141. These are the Camco RV insect Screens. .

The screens (CAM42141) cover the furnace openings very well, are attractive, and stay put during travel. I was apprehensive that the wire screen would be rough around the edges but there is a very smooth crimped trim edge to prevent scratching exterior surfaces. An installation tool comes with the screens to make spring installation easy. The crossbar on the spring is at the end of the coil, prior to the hook. Once I found that, installation went smoothly.
I received my order today, 1 day earlier than anticipated. The furnace vent covers were easy to install. It took me longer to open the package than it did to install.
Good product fit as I hoped it would
As usual, eTrailer came through. I bought the insect protector screen since we have a lot of wasps in our area in Ohio. They build nests everywhere it's dark and secluded. The screens do the job. They fit perfectly. Just take them out of the package and they hold in place magnetically. They've stayed there a year without moving.

Still working great and still looks brand new.
The insect screens look nice and protect the furnace vents from those pesky bugs. They are worth buying.
Very easy install and no insect incursi ons.

as promised except for the small springs that came with the water heater cover, the springs are not strong enough.i had to install a stainless wire thru the screen and attach it to the inside cover.or stand the chance of loosing the screen. leo

We ordered screens to keep wasps out of our camper's furnace and reefer vents. They arrived earlier than promised and were what we expected. They look like good products, time will tell. Have never been disappointed with etrailer.
Works great on a 2021 Jayco Jay Feather 24BH
The screen is great. Nice and sturdy. Easy to install. I used this on my exhaust vent.
The retaining clips, not so much. On paper, this was probably a good idea, but I could not get the clip to stay connected. I ended up using a role of small medium gauge wire to hold this in place and now the screen is locked in place.
Other than being a little difficult to install the springs, these have worked well. I always put a bead of silicone around the outsides to help hold them in place.
Fast delivery service. Installed quick and easy. Looks like they will keep the wasp out.
I used them on a 2019 fifth wheel.

One year in and the covers are still on. They dont show any signs of corrosion or degradation. This was a good buy.
