An outdoor water faucet, water hose or campground spigot that has damaged threads can mean messy, muddy conditions around the faucet, and can leave you soaking wet each time you turn the water on. That's if you're even able to connect to the faucet at all. Hey, I'm Alan from Camco manufacturing, and I'd like to show you our solution to leaky water connections: the Camco Water Bandit. Camco's Water Bandit is a brass male water connection attached to a highly flexible silicone polymer sleeve, that stretches to connect to pretty much any standard size water connection, regardless of the condition of the threads: damaged, stripped, and even those with no threads at all. It's easy, look. All you have to do is connect the female end of your water hose to the male end of the Water Bandit, and simply slide or twist the flexible end of the Water Bandit onto the water connection or faucet till it's node 00:01:02. You're good to go; back in business. Remember, the Water Bandit isn't meant for use under pressurized water hose. You need to keep the other end of the hose open, otherwise the pressure will pop the Water Bandit right off the spigot. This was the exact item that I needed, however, the rubber was not large enough or flexible enough for my kitchen faucet.
I have a Moen spray type faucet. I needed this so that I can attach it to a garden hose, run the hose through my living room and wash down my balcony on the second floor of a condo unit. Hopefully soon an adapter will be made that can truly adjust to fit all faucet sizes.
Totally works, am happy with this purch ase.
Disappointed. I wanted this part to attach a hose to my kitchen sink . Then I could fill my outdoor hot tub without turning on the outdoor faucet in the freezing weather. My kitchen faucet was much larger (2X) than the rubber adapter, so I could not use it. The bathroom faucet was also too large. I was going to return it, but I didn't feel like paying the postage, so I'll just hold onto it in case someone else can use it.
Works great but need two people. Have to hold it tightly on the faucet or the pressure will blow it off. Good item for the money. In some cases make sure you have a long enough hose

Great, just what I needed for filling mr RV
Yes, it doesn't handle pressure very well. I've since purchased a couple of clamps that hopefully will keep hose connector secure when I turn on the water. Haven't tried yet....as of this writing.

Came in handy recently at a state park where they did not have a threaded fitting on the water supply. My only issue is it needs to have some nylon reinforcement in the. Instructions say to not use under pressure which I didn't but it separated. The only back pressure was the water was going through a camco filter on the way into the tank on the power fill setting. And a thumb operated hose clamp would be a nice addition so you don't have to stand with a tight grip on the faucet.
This is perfect to throw in with my drinking water hoses when camping.
A lot of campgrounds have old fashioned spigots that don't have threads. This will easily allow me to refill my fresh water tank for extended stays without moving camper.

I purchased this to connect a garden hose to a laundry tub faucet and it worked like a champ. No leaks and the hose didn't fly off due to water pressure, a very handy product that did it's job well.
Works as intended. We camp at a Forest service campground that does not have hook ups. But has a pump without a screw spigot, this allows me to run my water hose to the trailer and fill the water tank.
I use this to connect a 5 gallon water jug to a pump. This allows me to pump fresh water into my RV. It's easy and leak free.
Everything that I ordered came within a reasonable time and in good shape. However, I was astonished by the size of the box it came in! The box was at least 3x the size of the material in it. The rest was filled with crumbled brown paper. Box was sealed closed with close to 50 industrial staples making it difficult and hazardous to open. I think an environmentalist would be appalled at the over packaging. Suggest the packaging dept. get a bigger variety of boxes to ship materials in. Otherwise, e-Trailer is my choice of camping and trailer supplies.
Works great for those US Forest Service Campgrounds that have don't have water spickets with threads to refill your RV.
Great product! We used this connector for hooking our shower up to a hose to fill a birthing tub for our water birth. Worked amazingly. No leaks!
Just to have in case of an emergency and fittings are messed up. The hope is to never have to use it.
Haven't used the hose connector yet but it does fit oncampground faucets.

THOUGHT I COULD CONNECT A SPRAY NOZZLE AFTER I PUT ON THE FAUCET. STILL IT WORKS FOR ME...THANK YOU
It doesn,t keep connected very well. A small hose clamp will fix that problem.

Stephen, Thank you for your review. This part #CAM22484 is made to adapt your outside water source to the garden hose. If you are looking for a faucet adapter for your RV kitchen faucet I have contacted camco and they recommend part #CAM40083. If you are looking for a bathroom specific faucet adapter I would recommend Valterra part #W1527VP. I hope this helps.
