Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the CURT Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit for the Chevrolet and GMC trucks. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2007 to 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks with either the six and a half foot bed, or the eight foot bed. And on a custom fit part like this one, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model of vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application.
Now, these brackets here were designed to mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide these attachment points right here for your fifth wheel base rails. Now, it does require the CURT Base Rails, which do all separately on our website. It works with part number C16104, C16204, or the C16205. This will provide a custom fit by mounting to existing holes in your vehicles frame. And I just wanted to show you that if I turn this bracket, you'll be able to see the holes.
But basically, these were designed to mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame. So they put the holes in the brackets here that'll line up with the holes in your frame, so it minimizes the amount of drilling that's required when you go to install this. And because of that, it'll cut the installation time in half, compared to some of those universal bracket kits that are out there. Now, it does include everything shown here on the table. The brackets themselves, all the necessary hardware for installation.
Even includes in this application a brake line bracket, and in a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how this all goes together. These parts do have a nice black powder coat finish on them them to resist corrosion. They are designed to work with the industry standard rails that are compatible with BMW, CURT, Draw-Tite, Reese, and even Husky above bed fifth wheel trailer hitches. eTrailer was excellent, only issue that I had was with the manufacturer directions as the gas tank has to be lowered on the 8' bed. make sure if you go to install have 1/4 tank of gas or less and lower it down a couple of inches. the only reason for 4 stars is the install directions.

It took more than an hour to install but it did install pretty good no modifications but the brake cable hanger did not work as they showed so just that minor change there other Han tha all was good !
