I used this on an atv that I plow with and use a plow strap instead of cable or rope. This was the only stopper I could find that had a hole and slot big enough for the strap to fit through easily. It's a little loose but works. Overall I'm happy with it.
The Bulldog winch mount from etrailer is a fine quality product. It fit perfectly onto my 1995 Suzuki King Quad and made a really neat an clean winch installation. The shipping time as well as the correspondence on when, where and how the shipping process was taking place was excellent. A quality organization with a high quality product. Exactly has advertised and good quality but I didn't have the right application. The overall thickness of the stop is not enough to keep the cable coupler out of the fairlead roller which was my objective. If you are using this as an electric winch stop check the dimensions twice.
Item is solid, hard rubber and was installed on a Warn RT30 with synthetic line. Eliminated that hook and roller fairlead rattle that was annoying. E-Trailer shipped it timely and followed up to ensure I was happy with the product. Well worth the money.
If you have a winch, you have to have one of these. They will prevent your fairlead from getting banged up. When ordering your winch just go ahead and order the stopper while your at it. If not, you will wish you had. You will have a hard time finding them anywhere else at this price.
Looks and feels heavy duty well worth the money. I would recommend this to anyone.

I’ve used it only a few times around oak trees and it’s holding up great
Works to keep the shackle from banging around on the JEEP.
This is a very nice product. Something that you need if you have a winch. It helps stop you from over tightening, when rewinding.
I just received it but it looks like it will work just fine.
