What Size Wire/Synthetic Winch Rope Fits the Bulldog Winch Hook Stopper # BDW20236

Question:

It does not give the actual dimension of the hole. I am trying to use this on synthetic spydura rope which is back-braided around the thimble. The diameter just behind the thimble at the end of the line is aprox. 5/8 due to the back-braiding. Im looking for something to fit it.

The Bulldog Winch Hook Stopper # BDW20236 accepts the wire or synthetic rope sizes found on all Bulldog truck winches. Their most heavy duty truck winch uses a 15/32 inch diameter wire rope which is a little under 1/2 inch so up to 15/32 inch or 12mm is as large as I would go.

I can give you those dimensions. The round part of the hole is 3/4 inches in diameter. The overall length of the slotted opening is 1-3/4 inches. And the height of the slotted area is 3/8 of an inch. I made a picture showing this.
