This wire rope is made of high-strength, aircraft-grade galvanized steel that is zinc-plated to resist abrasions and withstand harsh UV rays, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. It's more abrasion resistant than synthetic rope, less susceptible to damage from harmful sun rays, and you don't have to wash it after each use.
It is recommended to use this rope with a hand-saver strap (sold separately) in conjunction with work gloves (sold separately) so that you can safely handle the rope and hook. A rock bag (sold separately) is also recommended for added protection. The rock bag helps prevent a broken rope from snapping back if it breaks by forcing it to the ground.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Bulldog Wench Wire Rope with the included hook. The unit's made from a high quality construction. Just that nice, braided, steel design. A Very strong and durable design. Then we're going to have the forged steel hook on this side. A Solid, one piece design.
Very strong and durable with that as well. The included hook's going to feature that spring loaded safety latch mechanism that's going to prevent from accidental disconnecting. This wire rope's going to have a diameter of 5/32 of an inch and it's going to have an overall length of 50 feet long. It's going to have safe working load limit of 2 thousand pounds. This is an OE replacement for Bulldog Wench part number 15001 and it will also work for other wenches as long as the specifications match up.

etrailer was 5 star but the shipper dropped the ball. boxes were marked 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 they should have been handled together. etrailer gets 5 star for fast shipping and good communication. thanks james
I ordered this to replace the cable in a hitch mounted crane. The original cable got crushed in a pulley. This cable was exactly what I needed. It may be a few thousandths thinner than the original, but that has not been an issue. The cable was easy to work with and has worked flawlessly. The springloaded latch cover over the hook has held up, unlike the OEM latch on the original. Absolutely zero complaints and I will buy this again if I ever need another.
