Speaker 1: Today you're gonna be getting a good look at the Adco Deluxe Solar Vent Cover, part number 290-7172. This cover's made out of a durable vinyl. It has a silver finish on one side to reflect heat. It's insulated, it's gonna help cut down on drafts, and it's gonna prevent heat from escaping. We're using a laser thermometer here to get a temperature on the inside. As you can see, it's around 63.
Here on the other side we're getting a reading of about 74. The interior is white to complement your RV, and its dimensions are 18 by 18 inches.Now that we've gone over the features I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed. It's extremely easy. The hook and loop is already pre-connected. We can just pull back the adhesive paper here, and then stick it in place.
You'll also want to be sure that the area that you're sticking it to is free of any dirt or debris. Just wipe it down, and then I can stick it in place. I'm just kind of lining it up, push it in place, just like that.Now when you want to remove it, it's as easy as just pulling down. We can set it back in place just the same. Installs and removes easily with provided Velcro.Just what I was looking for to help insulate my trailer when we're camping in very hot or cold conditions.
The only problem is the adhesive is just barely strong enough. When you remove the cover, the velcro is strong enough to also pull the adhesive from the ceiling.
This fit my vent where others wouldn't have. I did have to add a couple extra velcro adhesive strips to keep it secured.
The web site was easy to use with good description of the item I was interested in. Communication about receipt of order and notification of shipped was by email and was prompt. Delivery was ahead of time scheduled and communicated promptly. Order correct and delivered without damage. WOW! Makes Amazon look like an amateur! Thank you etrailer!
Just got this and haven't installed it yet so it's too soon to rate this product. There are no instructions. It was delivered on time.
