Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Valterra High Flow Shutoff Valve. Now this is going to allow you to control the water flow and pressure where you need it. This is a ball valve, so it is going to very easily allow high volume of water to flow through. And then with just that quarter turn of the knob there, you can see that it's going to allow you to turn off the water to make sure that it's not going to be leaking on you and that sort of thing. This does have a black plastic construction.
We're going to have a three eighths inch FPT, or female pipe thread end and a three eighths inch MPT, or male pipe thread fitting here. So we can very easily get this hooked up in line and turn that water on or off. So that's gonna complete our look for today. Again I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

No leaks performs well
this shut-off valve is not a high flow like it said, it is just a regular flow at best
It's plastic, but it works good . I use it when we bleed the water hose before attaching to the RV.

These are great! They are much better than metal ones because they are lighter and don't mark if you hit something.

You mentioned that it was not as high flow as you were looking for. I reached out to the manufacturer who advised that the hole in the shut off ball is larger than most however are many variables which determine the the flow rate – hose size, hose length, water pressure.
