Added (welded) to our diesel pusher Motorhome and have no issues and really no worries while towing whatever we feel we need while camping.

by:

This hitch was exactly what was needed for my landscaping customer's small dump body truck. It replaced the original custom hitch with only minor modifications to accommodate the cargo body. I have done considerable work for this customer over many years. No issues reported with this job. All good!! Thanks to Curt and etrailer for great products and stellar service. —

by:

The hitch eeceiver I bought is perfect for my RV. What I was even more impressed with was the updates etrailer.com sent as my order processed and shipped. Each step of the way I was updated by employees who accompanied the update with their photos. Very personalized experience. Thank you etrailers.com!

Curt Class V receiver received complete and as advertised. Now, to get it installed by welder/ installer on '03 Newmar Dutch Star.

by:

Package arrived on time-there was a good deal of dust in the package but that doesn’t hurt anything-the hitch and pieces are heavy duty.

by:

Worked great for my custom application. Placed behind my custom bumper as a hidden hitch.

by:

Well made hitch, very adjustable, and easy to install. No problems towing my 30' cabin cruiser with my new-to-me Semi-tractor. Exactly what I was looking for.

by:

Excellent product, just what I needed for a modified flatbed installation

by:

Solid and sturdy

by:

It’s beefy and solid. The mounting bracket square holes had to be cut in a smidge and he added two more support bars.. but all in all. My welder said it would tow 11-12 k. Not the 16k I was told. But hey. I’m okay with that. There was a shipping issue which forced me to reschedule a few things, that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise I am supper happy with how it turned out.

by:

It is very well built and the powder coating is very tough, took a good grinding to get it off for the welds. Good price as well. I used it for my 2006 Bounder 35E, not because it was a high rate hitch, as I did not need one, but this was the only one that would lower the hitch to a more normal height from the ground. The old hitch was so high a 10" deep was not enough to use a trailer parallel to the ground. Now I can hook up a lot easier and not worry about scraping. Looks good too.

by:

Great quality product from Curt . Can be easy installation depending on the application.. mine more difficult because of aluminum alloy frame, so will have to do some reinforcing.

by:

I put this on my 03 Freightliner Columbia. It does everything I want it to. It is bolted and welded.
I like it so much that a bought another one and put it on my old school bus. That one is just bolted on.

by:

attached this hitch to my 1984 American General 5 ton military truck. Had to do some modification to air lines and drill a few holes but it is perfect for pulling civilian trailers with the M 813.

Perfect fit on my 2009 blue bird

  • Trailer Hitch for 2011 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 With 30-3/8 Inch Frame Width
I have a solution for you but there are no custom fit hitches for the narrow 30 3/8 inch frame 2011 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500 Dually models. They weren't as widely produced and some have a service body or step bumper which obstructs where a hitch would be mounted. If your Sprinter has a step bumper you will need to remove it. Once that's done, you'd want to measure the drop needed. The drop is the vertical measurement from the underside of the vehicle frame member and the lowest point...

  • Highest Rated Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2003 Ford E-450
I do have an option for you but the 2003 Ford E-450 is a cab and chassis model to which our aftermarket manufacturers do not test/designed their hitches for. In addition to this we do not offer a Class VI trailer hitch receiver. Therefore, the best option I can offer you is the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch and Brackets part # 15901. This hitch has a Class V rating with a 2" receiver tube opening. It fits frame rails spaced between 18" and 43" apart therefore will work well for...

With your 2007 Ford E-450 van chassis and Osage ambulance box you are going to need a weld on receiver like the Curt Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver # 15902. This particular receiver includes brackets which will allow for a drop of 10.865" from the vehicle frame. We also have the Receiver # 15901 which will give you up to 3" of drop if you do not need any more than that.

  • What are the Towing Capacities for the Curt Hitches part # 15901 and # 15902
I can tell you what Curt lists as the capacities for their # 15901 and # 15902 hitches. You are correct, they both have 12k capacities. The only other capacity you will need to look up is the capacity for your RV. If it is at least 12k then you could take full advantage of the hitch's capacity assuming they were installed correctly. This info should be in the RV owner's manual.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2003 Chevy Express 3500 Cutaway
Hey Mike, the closest I was able to find is the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch # 15901. This is a universal trailer hitch that will fit frames ranging from 18" to 44", has a 15K capacity, and has 3" drop brackets. The other option would be to use the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch w/ Brackets # C37CR which has a 9" drop.

  • Recommended Flat Towing Parts for a 2016 Jeep Wrangler
You shouldn't need to add anything to your RV. It looks like the 2018 Winnebago Vista came with a 2" hitch rated for 5,000 lbs and a 7-way connector. The 7-Way connector is what you will plug the wiring coming from your Jeep into. Your Winnebago has hydraulic brakes so you won't need to mess with air lines. I am not sure what list you are going off of but here's another one with the Roadmaster parts I recommend using to flat tow your 2016 Jeep Wrangler: Tow Bar and Safety Chains - Roadmaster...

I do have a solution for you. However, the Draw-Tite Class III hitch # 75129 is the only confirmed hitch that will fit a 1975 Chevrolet Blazer. There are no custom-fit Class IV or V hitches for this model vehicle. The Curt Class V Universal Weld-On Receiver Hitch, # 15901, may be an option for your 1975 Blazer. • Front Mount Hitch Receiver Fitment on a 2021 Thor Chateau
Your best bet for a front mount hitch receiver on your 2021 Thor Chateau motorhome is a universal hitch like the Curt Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch # 15901. Since there isn't any custom-fit trailer hitches for a 1978 VW Bus, what you'll need is a universal weld-on hitch. • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1997 Damon Intruder with 10,000 lb Towing Capacity
We may have something that will work for you, but keep in mind, trailer hitch manufacturers do not make custom fit hitches for RVs and motor homes. A universal hitch is used and is typically bolted or welded to the frame of the RV and in some cases the mounting brackets have to be modified. You will also have to remove the existing hitch, but I recommend holding on to the mounting brackets as templates just in case the mounting brackets for the new hitch have to be modified. I also recommend...
