Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Chevrolet Silverado

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver. So my opinion, this is going to be a good all around hitch. It's not going to be super heavy duty or lightweight. And a lot of my friends and family, people that I know that have Silverado's, that tends to be what they use their trucks for, work and a little bit of play. So this is going to allow you to haul around that work trailer, maybe even carry an accessory, or maybe even on the weekend, take your boat down to the river, or your dirt bikes to the trails. more

Ryan: Hey everybody. Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt trailer hitch receiver. Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 13301

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver. So the first thing I noticed about the hitch is that it's going to blend in pretty good. It's really not going to take away from the looks of your Silverado. And with Silverados being such a popular and versatile truck, many of the people that I know and our customers use them as work trucks, and it makes complete sense. However, it's a little hard to get the job done if your truck doesn't have a hitch and you need to tow a trailer or some materials, anything like that. more

Hi, I'm Shane with etrailer.com. Today on our 1999 Chevrolet Silverado, I'm going to walk through how to install Draw-Tite Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver. This Draw-Tite Hitch is going to give you a few more options than some of the other ones out there. One, it's going to give you a little bit higher weight capacity than some of the other Class 3s, and it's going to come with a pre-welded bracket so if you wanted to add wiring, anything like that, this bracket you wouldn't have to purchase. Another nice thing about this hitch is it's going to have a round tube design, as opposed to some of the other ones that have a square tube design. Square tube designs, they run straight across where this one angles back a little bit. more

Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the e-trailer, class three, custom head trailer hitch receiver, part number E98849.So here's what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is gonna sit right below the bumper, but we're really only gonna see it sticking out right here in the center. Our hitch is a class three, which means it's gonna give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and have a lot of different options for accessories we can mount up.The way we're gonna mount any of those is through the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is going to accept a standard Friday's pin and clip and while these are not included in the kit, you can pick them up here at E-trailer.com. Our safety chain connection points are going to be a plate style. Rolled to the bottom. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Silverado - Draw-Tite

Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Silverado we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite, class three, custom fit trailer hit receiver, part number 75521.So here's what our hitch looks like once it's fully installed on our truck. Now we are gonna see just a little bit of the cross tube, but it's gonna blend in nicely with the black plastic that's on our bumper. If you're looking at the other Draw-Tite as well as this one you might notice that there's very few differences on them, this one the safety chain connection points are gonna be slightly different and we are gonna have two more connection points that are gonna mount up right underneath the bumper here, but this one is gonna give a slightly higher tongue weight. Now this is a class three hitch so it's gonna give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and it has a nice reinforced collar giving it added strength and just overall a clean, finished look. Now the way we're gonna mount any of our accessories is gonna be with this hitch pin hole which is gonna be the one farthest forward towards our cab and it's gonna accept a standard five-eighths pin and clip. Now they're not included but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3 or we have a wide variety of locking hitch pins available as well. The small hole towards the back of our receiver tube is gonna be for the J-pin stabilization device, which is gonna be great if any of your accessories don't have a built in anti-rattle.Now the safety chain connections that we we're mentioning before are gonna be a loop style on this Draw-Tite and as you can see we're gonna have plenty of room to get most size hooks on or off and even with a locking device we're really not gonna have to worry about too much room or interfering with those. Now Draw-Tite has taken the extra step and actually welded a bracket onto the cross tube here so that way you can mount any of your electrical accessories if they're not built into your truck and we have a wide variety of those available as well. Now this Draw-Tite is gonna feature a 900 pound tongue weight along with a 6,000 pound gross trailer weight rating. Now it is designed to work with weight distribution systems, which is gonna bump our tongue weight up to 1,050 pounds and it's gonna bump our gross trailer weight rating up to 10,500 pounds. Now I always want to remind you, you always want to double check your vehicles owners manual to make sure your truck can handle pulling that amount of weight.I'd like to give you a few measurements that's gonna help you decide on accessories for your new hitch such as a ball mount, bike rack, or even a cargo carrier. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class IV Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number: 14301. Our cross tube is gonna be slightly visible and it's gonna sit just right below the bumper. But the nice thing is, is the cross tube is gonna blend in with that black plastic on our bumper itself. Now, this is a Class IV hitch and it's gonna give us that 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. And a big difference between this one and the Torklift that we have on our website is that this one is gonna be a one piece design, which is gonna make it a little bit easier to install. And this one actually is gonna have a higher rating for tongue weight, as well as gross trailer weight rating. more

Our cross tube is going to stick out just below the bumper, but it is going to tuck up nicely. The main thing we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out. It is a class three hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. It has that nice reinforced collar, not only giving it added strength but that nice clean finished look. Our hitch is going to use a standard 5/8th 00:00:35 pin and clip to mount any of your accessories, whether it be a ball mount, bike rack or even a cargo carrier. Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class V Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C15323.So here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It is going to stick out just right below our bumper with the cross tube, but it is going to blend in nicely with the black plastic on our bumper. Now if you're comparing this to other two inch by two inch receiver tube opening hitches, this one is going to have the most weight capacity, and that's why it's called the extra duty. Now it is a class V hitch, but it's still going to give us that two inch by two inch opening, and it's going to have that nice reinforced collar. As you can see, it's going to have a nice matte black finish opposed to the gloss finish that's on a lot of other hitches. Still going to use that standard 5/8 pin and clip, or if you'd like you can pick up a locking device on our website. The safety chain loops are going to be a plate style welded to the bottom. more

Going to give you a little extra towing capacity compared to your Class III, or your old school bumper mount ball. It's going to be your standard two inch by two inch. Going to have a 5/8 inch hitch pin hole. Safety chain loops are going to be a plate style. more
