Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this B&W Tow & Stow Ball Mount for your 2 1/2 inch hitches. Now, these come in a variety of different shapes and sizes with different rise and drop options, as well as tri-ball and dual ball mount options here. Now, this is one of the tri-ball mounts, which means it's gonna come with a 2 5/16 inch ball, a two inch ball, and an inch and 7/8. They can easily pull a pin and clip and switch between as you need to, so you can adjust that on the fly if you've got a variety of different trailers. But not only that, it gives you height adjustments, so when you switch to a different trailer, you can change the rise or drop and make sure you're always towing it level. more

It's gonna be an adjustable ball mount where you can raise the height to match your vehicle and your trailer combination, and it's gonna have two different ball options, a 2 5/16 and a two inch ball. So if you tow a variety of different trailers, both with different coupler sizes and different ride heights, you can get it matched up and make sure that you're always towing level. To switch between those two ball sizes, there's a stainless steel pin and clip on the outside here that we can remove and rotate it to either end, pop it in to lock it, or twist it to the side and lock it in the storage position. more

This is also available in different rise and drops, creating a heavy mega duty ball mount for extreme towing situations. We'll talk about what it includes and what it can do here at etrailer. This is actually a very versatile ball mount with a lot of weight capacity, but also a very heavy ball mount so some people call this the one stop shop hitch ball mount and that's because it has stacked receivers so you can do a lot with this. It is designed for 2-1/2" hitch receivers though, that's what we have here on our Chevrolet Silverado. Now this B&W Toe & Stow adjustable ball mount is going to slide into your 2 1/2 inch hitch receiver, and it's gonna let you tow a variety of trailers with different tongue heights, having a 1 7/8 inch ball, a 2 inch ball, and a 2 5/16 inch hitch ball. These are going to allow for even more flexibility, making this a great ball mount to consider if you own multiple trailers. Now when you are not towing, you can easily flip the ball mount platform around and stow it beneath your hitch so that you won't bang up your shins. So if you need a lot of adjustability, whether it's in the rise or the drop position, then this is gonna be a really good option for you. Let's talk about some of its pros and cons right here at etrailer.com. So there's two pieces to this ball mount, you can keep the first piece in your hitch your receiver if you want, and then you just get the actual ball mount shank, and then insert it in either the rise or the drop position. So I currently have the hitch ball, which is not included, in the drop position, and this is how much adjustability you can get. To measure for the rise and drop that's needed, you measure from the top inside edge of your hitch receiver all the way to the base of the ball, and that's gonna be your rise and drop. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with the trailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this Buyers Products Tri-Ball Mount with the pintle hook attachment. It's gonna be a pretty simple way to get a variety of different ball sizes as well as the ability to tow a lunette ring trailer all with one ball mount. Let's check it out. So this doesn't have any adjustment built into it as far as height goes, so if you are switching between a variety of different trailers, I would look into a nicer ball mount that has these different options for hookup but has height adjustment. If you're not too concerned about that and you just need the different coupler sizes or the different balls for different size couplers and the ability to use the pintle hook on a lunette ring trailer then this will do the trick. more

Hi everybody, Andy here with the trailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mount with stacked receivers. This shock absorbing adjustable ball mount is going to slide into your two inch trailer hitch receiver and it's going to give you five stacked two inch receivers. So, you can hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle with the included two inch or two and 5/16ths inch hitch ball or you can tow a trailer that has a lunette ring on it using the larger two and 5/16ths inch ball paired with the included pintle lock. Let me give you a brief demonstration of how you can use this pintle lock. So, again, you're going to want to use the larger two and 5/16ths inch hitch ball. And then, after you place your ring over this ball, you're going to remove your clip and then your pin and then that's going to allow you to slide that lock out and then you'll just replace the pin and the clip and so you won't have to worry about that lunette ring coming off because of that pintle lock. more

And the great part too, it's 12 inches long so you're gonna get a little bit more clearance when hooking up to your trailer. Now when towing the trailer, you wanna make sure that the trailer coupler is gonna be nice and level to get the best towing experience. And sometimes you have a car that the height kind of matches up pretty close. You just need minor adjustments and that's where something like this really comes into play. more

Curt Chrome Ball Mount Review- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt Ball Mount for two inch hitches. Now this one is a full chrome plated so it does give a little bit different look and you have a two-inch drop and a 3/4 inch rise. Now keep in mind when picking up a ball mount a lot of times they do not come with a ball and this one is just like that. Now we just went ahead and put a Curt 6,000 pound ball in here. Now keep in mind that you want to pick up a ball that's going to match the coupler of your trailer but also match the diameter of the shank hole. So this one is gonna be an inch so whatever ball you're picking up, whether it be an inch and 7/8, a two inch ball or 2 5/16. more

Curt Dual Length Ball Mount Review- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt Ball Mount for 2" hitches. And this one's pretty aggressive. We have a 6" drop like we have here but also the ability to have a 4" rise. Now why do you need a rise or drop like this Well, if you have a lifted vehicle, or even sometimes, factory vehicles are having these hitches pretty high up as far as ground clearance, and that means that you are gonna have to maybe get a drop to match up the coupler of your trailer. Or conversely, you have a car that's pretty low to the ground with a low ground clearance and you need to rise this up to be able to get to that hitch and center up your trailer nice and perfectly. Well, this offers that in two different configurations just by simply flipping and retorquing the ball on. more

This is gonna be a great option if you have a 2 5/16" coupler on your trailer and you need a little bit of a drop, but also you have the ability to have a two-inch rise. Now the ball does come with the ball mount, which is really nice, it's already pre-torqued on there. And so if you are gonna put it in the rise position, you're gonna flip this over. You will have to take the ball mount off, flip it and retorque it down, but you do have that adjustability. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the CURT Trailer Hitch Ball Mount with a two and 5/16 ball or a two-inch hitch. Now this ball mount will give you a six-inch drop, like we have in our configuration here. And that's gonna give you some solid towing capacities with a gross trailer weight rating coming in at 7,500 pounds. So that's gonna be the weight of the trailer plus the accessories on it. You also have a tongue weight rating of 750 pounds, and that's gonna be the pressure that's put down on the ball mount. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt Trailer Hitch Ball Mount for 2" hitches with a 2-5/16" ball. This is gonna be a great option for those of you with a 2" hitch that need to hook up to a trailer that has a 2-5/16" coupler. And this ball comes included and pre-torqued and it's gonna be in the drop position. So here we have it with a 2" drop. It can also be in a rise position with 3/4", you're simply gonna flip this over and you will have to take the ball off and re-torque it down. So that's one of the good things about this is it does come pre-torqued so you don't have to have that torque wrench to be able to do it, but you still have that availability if you need to put it in a rise position to be able to do that. more

Buyers Products Solid Shank Double-Ball Hitch Review- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Buyers Products Double Ball Mount for two-inch hitches. Now this ball mount features two welded on balls and you have two different sizes, one of them being 2 5/16 and one of them being two inch. So that way if you have two different trailers or to a variety of different trailers, you're able to swap this over pretty easily and be able to swap ball sizes. Now the pin and clip is not included with this so you are gonna want to pick up a 5/8 pin and clip. Locking one is a really nice option and we have lots of available ones here at etrailer and that way you can leave your ball mount on the vehicle, lock that in place, and no one's gonna be able to just walk away with this. more

Pro Series Tri-Ball Mount Review- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Pro Series Trailer Ball Mount, with three different ball sizes for a 2" hitch. Now, many times when we're towing, we are towing the same trailer so it's pretty straightforward. You get a ball and a ball mount that works well but sometimes you have a little bit of variety. So if you're doing something like kayaks on the weekend and having fun or maybe doing a little bit of work on the weekend, you can swap the ball over and it's gonna work with either configuration. So for a small kayak trailer that's an 1-7/8" coupler, it works great for that. And when we're ready to hop over to our work trailer and get some work done, simple as rotating this over and it's still gonna have that same 5/8" pin and clip and that's gonna hold this in place. more

So if during the week you're doing some work, around the house and need a work trailer, but on the weekend you want to cut loose and have some fun, and both trailers have two different sized couplers, not to worry, you're good to go. Now, this does not have a rise or drop, so just make sure when choosing this ball mount, that it measures with the coupler of your trailer and also with the hitch, and that way it's nice and even. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at eTrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt two-inch hitch ball mount. Now this is gonna be a great option especially if you're looking for a four-inch drop or a two-inch rise and an inch and seven eighths ball because that ball comes included and attached already. Now this is a decent ball mount for anything that's going to be fairly lower weight because the capacity is rated at 3500 pounds and the number stamped on the ball mount is actually gonna be a little bit higher. In fact, the gross trailer weight rating on that is gonna be 7500 pounds with a tongue weight of 750, but you are limited because of the ball size. The inch and seven eighths only goes up to that 3500-pound capacity. And you'll also have a 350-pound tongue weight. more
