Weight Distribution and Sway Control for a 2006 Lexus GX470 Towing a Featherlite Open Car Trailer
Question:
I have a 2006 Lexus GX470. I just bought a 18 Featherlite 3110 open trailer. With my race car on there, its right around 5200lbs. Can you recommend me a setup to control/prevent sway? Mind you, my truck has a leveling suspension in the rear that can raise/lower the rear automatically.

I recommend Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution system, part # RP66559, if the tongue weight of your trailer will always be less than 1,000 lbs fully loaded and ready to travel. The Steadi-Flex will help to control sway and will reduce the stress on the vehicle auto-leveling system.
You will need a properly sized hitch ball to complete your installation, the compatible hitch balls we offer can be seen at the link below.
