Moving a Trailer with 450 Pounds Tongue Weight Around a Flat Driveway

Question:

I am looking for something to attach to the front of my travel trailer to move it on the flat driveway. The trailer is a 19foot Airstream Bambi, trailer weight loaded of about 4500, tongue weight 450LB. I would plan to attach the jack just to move it, then take it off when we travel. What would be the best product for what I need to do? Is it also possible to just put a wheel on the existing jack. It is an Ultra 3502 electric jack?

Electric jacks rarely have wheels on them because the wheel capacity is much lower than the jack capacity so it limits them if they have wheels. Instead of installing and removing a jack, I recommend a trailer dolly, # RA20, which is rated for up to 500 pounds tongue weight.

It does have a 1-7/8 inch ball but that is fine for a trailer dolly, even if the coupler takes a larger ball, because you aren't towing with the smaller ball, just moving the trailer around.

I have used trailer dollies like this to move trailers around here and it works great. I have included a link to a video review for you.
