Is Adapter Needed for 2006 Ford F-550 Factory Brake Controller and Carlisle Actuator HBA-16

Hi, I have a 2006 F-550 ford and pulling a 2012 Mobile Suite fifth wheel that has electric over hydraulic disk brakes. The trailer has a hydraulick brake actuator HBA-16, serial #517996. Do I or should I have an HBA-CAM installed. Laetly I have been getting an era message from my IBC and had to have new calipers installed on the trailer. Any help will be appriciated.

Carlisle does indicate that on the early model Ford factory integrated brake controllers you will need to use adapter # HBA-CAM with generation 6 or newer electric over hydraulic brake actuators. Since you have # HBA16 the serial number needs to be 506100 or higher. Since yours is 517996 it is in the correct range.
