Comparing Road Armor, Dexter E-Z Flex, and MORryder CRE-3000 Equalizers For Jayco Eagle 325BHS

Question:

I am upgrading the suspension on a Jayco Eagle 325BHS. I am looking at Dexter ez-flex k7-652-00, Moryde cre3000 and possibly lippert road armour. I like the ex=flex but my existing equalizer is 3 3/4inch tall and the Dexter e-z flex is 2 1/2inch will this lower the height of my trailer? I have an adjustable ride height and can raise the trailer 1 1/4. Do have input on which brand people feel gives the best ride quality? can you tell me if any of these wont fix my fifth wheel?

I would be happy to compare the Road Armor, Dexter E-Z Flex, and MORryde equalizers you were looking at for your Jayco Eagle 325BHS.

First things first each of these kits are designed to replace equalizers that measures roughly 6" between the two horizontal mounting holes. If your equalizer is a different length then none of the above kits would be correct for you.

For your 325BHS I recommend the MORryde Rubber Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers - 33" Wheelbase - 8K # MR87ZR you were looking at as it measures 3-1/2" from the center of the upper mounting hole to the center line of the two horizontal mounting holes so it will keep your trailers ride height the same, but it being only 5-5/8" tall overall will keep you from having ground clearance issues.

The MORryde # MR87ZR offers up to 3" of suspension travel that the other options do not, so it is often viewed as the best option when it comes to ride quality.

The Road Armor # LC696740 would work as it has the same 3-1/2" height between the upper and lower bolts, but its 7-1/4" overall height can be problematic when it comes to ground clearance as it will hang down 1-1/2" lower than than the MORryde option.

Lastly the Dexter E-Z Flex # K71-652-00 would work as well but it is only 2" tall so it will slightly lower your trailer.

When upgrading equalizers it is also a great time to upgrade your shackles and bolts. More than likely your trailer has 2-1/4" long shackles which are measured from the center of one hole to the center of the other hole, in which case the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers - 2-1/4" Long Shackle Straps # MR46ZR would be a great option. This kit includes heavy duty 1/2" thick shackles and all new wet bolts to keep your suspension in good working order for years to come.

If you measure your current shackles and equalizers and find you have different lengths than the ones mentioned above just let me know.

I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
