The Curt # C12038 is a fit for the 1998-2008 Subaru Forester only, and wouldn't fit your new 2014 Impreza.
For the 2014 Impreza, I'd recommend the Draw-Tite # DT24959, assuming your Impreza is a single exhaust hatchback model. For a four door sedan model, that's NOT a WRX or a WRX STi model, go with the Draw-Tite Class I, part # 24960. For a WRX or a WRX STi model, use the Curt part # C113178.
