Replacement 12x2 inch Brake Assembly Recommendation

HOW LONG ARE THE PINS ON 12 X 2 BRAKE SHOES MY AXELS HAVE THE BACKING PLATES WELDED ON THE SHOES HANG ON THEM THE PINS WERE VERY SHORT WHAT WOOULD YOU USED?

There isn't a standard pin length for 12x2 brake assemblies. If you are looking for replacement parts for your current brake assemblies your best option would be to first determine what assembly you have as a lot of the parts are brand specific.

Most axles do have the mounting flange for the brake assemblies welded to the axle. Most likely the easiest option you would have would be to replace your 12x2 inch brake assemblies as typically this is the cheaper route.

For a left hand 12x2 inch brake assembly you would want the part # 23-464, for a right hand assembly you would want the part # 23-465.
