Spool Roller Options for Trailer Carrying 14-Foot Hobie Catamaran

Question:

The trailer I have for my 14foot Hobie Cat has fixed carpet-covered pieces of 2x4s that support the hulls. I want to replace them with spool rollers as in the attached photo I found on a Hobie forum. 1. Do you have something similar to the roller assembly in the photo that would allow bolting directly to the cross frame? 2. Otherwise it looks like Id need to use 2 U-bolts to mount the CE32150G to the cross-frame which would involve more cost and complexity. Can you suggest another mounting option? 3. Id prefer slightly wider rollers say 7-8 to make getting the cat back up on the trailer a bit easier. Are there other roller assemblies I should consider? Regards.

The CE Smith Offset Spool Roller Assembly # CE32150G that you referenced, as well as the other similar products shown on the link provided, all mount using user-supplied hardware. These are intended to bolt on directly, without U-bolts but rather with 7/16-inch or 1/2-inch fasteners you supply.

The CE Smith Offset Spool Roller you referenced is 5-inches. We do offer longer keel roller assemblies, from 5 to 12 inches, and these can be seen on the second link. These are offered with either rubber or non-marking thermoplastic rollers.
