What Style Lug Nuts Work Best with the Quick Trim Chrome Finish Trailer Hub # QT655C

I keep loosing my hub covers QT655W white 6 on 51/2 on my trailer. I would like to replace the remaining them with the chrome covers but dont want to be loosing them either. One of the reviewers said Nice product. Something to consider is it requires a 1/2inch lugnut, but not just any will do. I have two styles on my camper, one with a more defined flange allowing the friction clips inside the cap to grab ahold of the lugnut, the other does not which is why I lost the first one.inch Any idea what he is talking about or any suggestions?

The style of lug nut that the reviewer you referenced is referring to would be like the Americana Trailer Lug Nut part # AM26NR. You'll notice it has a lip around the base near where it contacts the wheel. That lip works great with the Hub Covers part # QT655C as it gives an edge for the cover to grab onto.

The #QT655 hub cover is 3-3/4 inches deep, from the surface that touches the wheel to the end of the inside face of the cap. An EZ Lube grease cap typically isn't much larger than a standard so it should work just fine.

I recommend replacing an entire ladder if it's damaged. You'll want to find a replacement based on the height. Such as the Stromberg Carlson #LA-401 that is 99-1/2 inches tall. They can be cut shorter to customize the length if needed.
