Troubleshooting Brake Controller that Activates Intermittently When Blinkers are Applied
Question:
2013 KIA Sorento When turning left, brake controller clicks along with car directional and displays 3.0, 1.9. Nothing when right directional is on. Ran brake stop light from controller back to connector rather than connecting to brake pedal. Could I have connected to wrong hot wire at 7 way connector?

Sounds like you are using the left turn/stop circuit from your 7-way for the brake switch wire when you installed the Curt Triflex Brake Controller part # C24VV. You would want to go back and find the circuit from the brake pedal switch that only see voltage when the brakes are applied and use it and the problem will go away.
Since you used the left/turn circuit of your 7-way any time your blinker is used your controller thinks the brakes are being applied for a second and it activates intermittently.
I attached a couple brake controller FAQ articles for you to check out as well.
