For your 2015 Chevy Tahoe you can use Roadmaster base plates # RM-523179-5. They'll work just fine with the adaptive cruise control. You will also need a compatible tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking.

For a compatible tow bar I recommend the Sterling # RM-576. It is rated for up to 8,000 pounds and comes with safety cables and a wiring connector.

For a lighting solution you can use the 4-diode kit # RM-154. I recommend cutting off the 4-way included with this kit and using the 6-way that's included with the Sterling tow bar. You'll have an extra couple of pins on the connector you can use if you have a purpose for them. It also looks like you will have to disconnect the battery to flat tow the vehicle. Consult the owners manual to confirm.

And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the easiest systems to set up and use is the Even Brake proportional system # RM-9400. It will apply the Tahoe brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the easiest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.

Be sure to consult your Tahoe owners manual for specific information on flat towing the vehicle. I have also included some helpful links to our series of help articles on flat towing for you.
