Carpod walled cargo carrier M2205 have enough clearance to open the hatch on a 2014 Mazda CX-5?

The Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier, # M2205, will have enough clearance to open the rear hatch on a 2014 Mazda CX-5 if it is in the collapsed position. We have not had a chance to test this carrier on a 2014 CX-5 yet, so to determine if it has enough clearance with the walls up, we will want to take a few measurements.
The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier platform is 13 inches and, with the walls up, this carrier will measure approximately 28 inches tall from the center of the hitch pin hole. If you hold a yard stick 13 inches away from the center of the hitch pin hole on your trailer hitch, you can see if your hatch will interfere at 28 inches.
